Who is The Fight Camp programme for?

 

Anyone who is up for the challenge and able to commit to an intense boxing training camp programme.

Boxing experience isn’t necessary as this programme is catered for complete beginners as well as those with experience.

There will be a compulsory assessment and briefing prior to signing up.

Your opponent will be chosen by us and we will look to match you by your weight and ability level.

John founded Train2Fight in 2012.  Since taking up boxing in 2007 John has competed in 14 Semi-Professional Boxing Bouts, with a record of 12 Wins & 2 Losses including the BBU Scottish Heavyweight Title & Semi-Professional Heavyweight Prize Fighter @ The Clapham Grand.  John has been coaching boxing for a number of years; his specialties are in taking contenders from novice to fighter in 10 weeks.  He has an eye for picking out fighters strengths and develop them into weapons!

Mitch brings a wealth of experience from his background in combat sports which goes back for more than 35 years (yes 35 years)! Before boxing he trained in Muay Thai, Kick Boxing Kung Fu and Karate. Much of the skills and discipline from these have been adopted in his fighting style and teaching technique. Mitch is the current English BBU Cruiser Weight Champion and at 47 is considering retirement from competing (but not yet!). Mitch is extremely competitive and trains his fighters to protect themselves at all times, but moreover, be victorious!

Lily started kickboxing in 2004 and competed for her university team. She discovered Muay Thai in 2006 and has been out in Thailand training and fighting a number of times winning all of her bouts.
After a tough K1 fight in Hastings Lily decided to work on her boxing and has stuck to it!
Lily coaches boxing & fighters conditioning and manages the Train2Fight programme.

Colin trained and coached kickboxing for 8 years, he took to coaching boxing 10 years ago and has dedicated plenty of time to it. He is a connoisseur of fighter’s strength and conditioning training and will put his fighters through their paces so they are beyond fighting fit.
